Since you are Christian, why did back around ~1500 (give or take a century or two) all the different Christian sects persecute each other? I mean they sent each other to jail, tortured each other and killed. Why couldn't the just unite, be friends, and have cupcakes?

Cupcakes still did not exist. As soon as they were invented, the persecutions stopped. Today, the only places where Christian persecution continues have a very low cupcake per capita, closer to ancient times than what you would expect in the modern world.

Pick up any European history book. It's largely explained in there why Christianity did and continues to divide itself.

See, those people may have been Christians, but they were also people, and in general, no offence guys, but people are pretty fucked. Give us some reason or even slight excuse not to like each other, and we will murder each other's children.

Its because of how much fighting and oppression and persecution etc etc that im a non-denomination Christian. I dont care about the small details that set these sects apart. Really didn't want to reply to that but I'm just going to have to, Socialism has killed very, very few people in its time on earth, that is the aim of socialism, equality of quality of life, don't bring up Stalinist Communism because that's not real socialism, that was hardly a centralised DEMOCRACY, believing in freedom and equality, like Marx said before he died "If there's one thing I know it's that I'm not a Marxist"

Do you guys feel like you're getting the whole picture from the Bible, even though about a thousand years ago (give or take) a bunch of men got together and pick and choose the books that would go into the New Testament of the Bible? Also, how accurate do you think today Bible really is to the original version?

That actually make sense with his question. Catholics don't see the Bible as the only source, probably because they more or less edited it. Many see it as an explanation of the beliefs, not proof.
