NCAA Week 6
Unranked Illinois is about to beat #5 Wisconsin in an amazing upset.
Today's marquee games are #23 Purdue vs. #4 Ohio State (I'm drinking now in preparation of attending our upset of the Buckeyes).
Also there will be Florida facing LSU.

As a side note, the "The" was emphasized by Oxley-Thompson, as a part of his campaign to make OSU central to the Ohio public higher education system. Miami and OU were both far older institutions, and Oxley-Thompson needed to convince the representatives in the statehouse that we deserved more money than them, in order to make us the centerpiece.
And that, amongst other factors, worked.
I'm concerned about how the game will go down tonight, though. I don't think OSU has had a test quite like Purdue for a very long time, and this will be the game that decides how the remainder of this season goes for us.
Oh, and I suspect that Florida will beat LSU by in inch, totally throwing the entire rankings system straight to hell.

Tonight's game will likely decide the 2007 Big Ten Championship. OSU's defense will test our offense and our offense will test your defense. It will be a good game.
As for Florida, I think they will lose. Especially after last week.

I honestly couldn't tell you either way who I will expect to win, as both teams are good. I mean, OSU might be a bit overrated and Purdue is definitely underrated, but I don't know by how much it might be in each case.
As for Florida, I think they will lose. Especially after last week.
I dunno, I suspect Florida will come back looking for blood and with fire in their belly. They want to make up for last weekend, and this is the perfect stage to do it on: Against the team I think is the best in the country.
