I work at Wendy's and I'll let you all on a little secret. Our Wendy's spits in every 9th burger. I don't know how widespread the practice is however.

It seems there has been another recall of hamburger patties. If I'm not mistaken, that's the third recall in about as many weeks.

Yesterday the nation's largest produce of frozen hamburgers, Topps meats announced they were shutting down and going out of business.

Well, I guess it's back to buying fresh ground beef and making our own hamburgers again.

It's not, and I don't see why you would do that.

What I want to know is why the commercial's claim that Wendy's never freezes its burgers. Bull. Shit.

*Nods* Agreed. As for that practice of spitting in the burgers, I think it's a good thing I don't eat much fast food...
And we can never be entirely sure if it's going to be completely safe. If we undercook the burger, we could get sick. If something gets into the processing plant, it takes an outbreak before we can find it. We just need to be aware and report what we know.

But e-coli adds extra flavouring to the burgers! They taste so good, they are to die for!

I'm sure you did. However, having seen what E-Coli can do, I don't. Trust me, it's not a pretty picture.

Meh, most meat has some sort of nasty bacteria in it. They'll all die if you cook it properly.
