In the spirit of Interent quizes, of which I am inordinately fond, I have divided the good people of NSG into several different categories, based on how they behave. Tell me what you think:

The All-Seeing Mod--Fairly self-explanatory. These are the mods, who seem to know all. Even if they don't, they can still close a thread.
Example: HotRodia
The Diplomatic Centralist--The person who agrees with you all the time, if you could just tone down your argument, and maybe listen to what others have to say...
Example: I can't think of any off the top of my head
The inartclete nob--Not necessarily a new poster, but usually. Their posts are difficult to understand because of poor typing and inarticulate writing. Usually, these posters either improve ther posts or go away.
Example: None stands out
The Puppet--Again, self explanatory. A poster controlled by another poster.
Example: Jesusland
The Left-wing Ranter--The France-loving, God-loathing, Communist who hates all the remnants of conservatism.
Example: Fassigen
The Right-wing Ranter--The welfare-hating, fetus-loving, Fascist who will destroy a new idea if they see it.
Example: FreedomAndGlory
The Lunatic Goofballs wannabe--The poster who is intelligent enough to not take this forum too seriously. That being said, nothing they post shows this intelligence.
Example: Lunatic Goofballs (duh)
The Congressman--The poster who loves (and is good at) a good debate, regardless of what it's about. Or which side they're on.
Example: The Cat Tribe
The Smunkee wannabe--The decent poster who has opinions but isn't about to shove them down your throat. Loved by all.
Example: Smunkeeville (again, duh)
The Troll--The bottom of the NSG social strata. Reeks of burning plastic from prolonged exposure to flaming.
Example: I wouldn't say even if I could think of any

There are probably more. Dead Commies Deleted seemed to have quiite a following, but that was before I started posting regularly. Please add any you think should belong.
Also, if you think I have offended you, I mean no harm. It is very much tongue-in-cheek.

The one that has attracted press attention is doh. Most of us would associate it — or d’oh as Matt Groening would write it and Dan Castellaneta would say it — with that famous American cartoon export The Simpsons, which has broadcast it across the world.

But, as the OED’s entry shows, the little exclamation doh!, with its candid admission of foolishness on the part of the speaker (or of frustration at the way things have turned out), has been around rather longer than the Simpsons. Indeed, Dan Castellaneta has said that he based Homer’s noise on those that were uttered by James Finlayson, a Scots actor who appeared in many of Laurel and Hardy’s comedies. i don't hate "god" (or gods), and there's more air between socialism and marxism then there is between capitolism and fashism. france is just another country; but it is just hair cooler then the u.s. at the present instant. hmmm, come to think of it, so is all of western europe and just about anyplace that isn't off the deep end of extreme repression.

i believe in lots of unseen things that love us and none that wish us any particular harm. just not in the need for anything to be infallable nor the inhierent bennificence of any form of hierarchy.

i do forum to rant a bit. but NOT to PROVOKE irritation intentionally. the latter being my understanding of what trolling is supposed to mean.

i do feel that i'm freequently not able to express myself as clearly and unambiguously as i would prefer. and my shield of huumore has some worn out, worn through and threadbare spots. irony i find easier to appreciate when i'm not feeling oppressively threatened by what in real life it so often so closely resembles.

and i do, live in that country, too powerful for its own good, the u.s., that has been demonizing anything less over the brainbow so called right then itself for most of as long as i've been alive, if not somewhat longer, so i hope i can be forgiven for being more then slightly paranoid of such things.
