Uwe Boll gets a reprieve
I just saw a commercial for a Hitman movie. Looked it up on imdb, it isn't Uwe Boll.
How much of a movie could Hitman be?
"Hi, I'm an assassin, I kill people." Roll hitlist
Fixed. :p
Edit: My first thread steal! Ahaha! *runs away dragging thread*

There was a Doom movie.
Someone also made Crank, which didn't have a plot so much as three or four action movie clichés interspersed with shots of Jason Statham's ass crack and outbursts of arbitrary violence.

If it's a Statham movie, then the violent outbursts aren't arbitrary, they are integral to the plot... without those violent outbursts, their would be no movie!

As long as the bit between "Hi, I'm an assassin, I kill people" and the credits are filled with extreme violence, well shot and executed stylishly, it could be quite good indeed. Its when they try to soften the main ingredient it gets bad.

and that would've been better than Ewe Boll's Bloodrayne II (http://imdb.com/title/tt0896036/).

It's like pouring chips in the salsa bowl and leaving them there. Don't hope for a good snack.
Wow. I didn't know Uwe Boll did Bloodrayne II. I thought it was just like House of the Dead 2 - done by some other director. This means I have go out and watch Bloodrayne II in my quest to chronicle who bad Boll can be. But on a non-Boll-related note, I doubt it could be any worse than the last sci-fi actioner I saw - Highlander: The Source.

I think it's a fantastic, clever and innovative game, I even kind of liked the first one!
I think it's quite funny and interesting the way Mr 47 is able to break in and do his hit so stylishly, so I don't see why it wont be a great movie.

Because a movie requires the main character to some redeeming qualities. Otherwise they end-up like Liane the Wayfarer, which only works with a short story.
"I am Chun the Unavoidable."

You haven't seen (for instance) "Judge Dredd" then.....
On the one hand I envy your fresh and unsullied optimism. On the other, I dread the inevitable way it will be crushed, raped, and cast into the gutter.....
