Carvings riddle stumps villagers


Puzzled residents across Yorkshire are turning detective after mysterious stone heads were left outside their properties in the dead of night.

Each of the heads, which are up to a foot tall, looks different but all feature the same carving - which appears to spell out the word "paradox" - and a note bearing the riddle: "Twinkle twinkle like a star does love blaze less from afar?"

Who knows what else the butlers get up to, one would have to infiltrate their secret society first and be ready for the horrors that no doubt lurk within.

Though it looks harmless I can see why some might want to call police. I'd probably feel that I am the target of some mysterious persons agenda and not knowing if this is a threat or what, I'd at least like someone to know that I am a possible target for something just in case something happens to me, they can use the carved head as a clue.

A tea cozy for a tank! I want to buy a tank just so I can HAVE one of those!!!

Oh, and I like the stone heads too. Whoever the artist is, sounds like he has a big crush on someone. I bet if you find the exact center of the area where all the heads have been placed, it will be the house of some girl he is afraid to talk to but wants to impress. That "twinkle twinkle" bit is what suggests this to me.

That is an extremely poorly written headline. There are two possibilities as far as what it is meant to say:

1) Carvings riddles, stumps villagers
2) Carvings' riddle stumps villagers

I think it is the latter.

It's Banksy, obv.
