UNITED NATIONS - Russia and China refuse to discuss possible new sanctions against Iran until the U.N. nuclear agency reports on Tehran's disclosure of its past suspicious nuclear work at the end of the year, France's foreign minister said Thursday.
...
Earlier in the day, Russia's foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, told Russian news agencies that new sanctions would undermine the IAEA's work.

"The U.N. Security Council measures on Iran should be balanced and respond to the steps taken by Tehran itself that obliged to answer all questions," Lavrov was quoted as saying by ITAR-Tass and RIA-Novosti.
...
Lavrov said the United States wants to ignore the IAEA but "we want to rely on IAEA expertise."

Hint: It is called non-cooperation. IE: Saddam Hussein. Remember, he played this game with UN Weapons Inspectors. Alwell. Russia has its head up its ass anyway. The only ones ignoring the IAEA resides in Tehran.

I dont thinks so

We already know you want Iran to violate the NPT.

So why did Chirac -and others- say "Bush should let Blix finish his job"

?

Because they are politicians who had good illegal contracts with Saddam Hussein.

Because they are politicians who had good illegal contracts with Saddam Hussein.I say Bush was a moron for not letting Blix finish his Job. Are you now going to say "## had a Halliburton-type contract with Saddam too" ?
My point is that many other EU politicians wanted Bush to let Blix finish his Job.

And yet...Hussein was not fully cooperating with Blix so even if we let him finish the job, I am willing to wager that there would still be questions and thus a war would still have occured.

Just like we know you're a war junky who wants to invade Iran on trumped up charges because you want your fix of dead brown people.

Because they are politicians who had good illegal contracts with Saddam Hussein.

You mean like in America? Until they saw that no bid contracts for rebuilding a nation was more lucrative that is.

President Corneliu would still invade Iraq/Iran. ???

Finish what job? I know this has been done over and over but Iraq was stonewalling weapons inspectors. As far as the Mayor of Paris Chirac, the guy is just an asshat that wanted to be obstructionist.

I want a war with Iran? can you back that up with evidence please?

You mean like in America? Until they saw that no bid contracts for rebuilding a nation was more lucrative that is.

And I never supported the no bid contracts so your SOL with that argument. As to the illegal contracts some companies had, I wanted them all prosecuted.

If questions remained? I would do all I can to answer those questions even if that means invading Iraq. As to Iran, right now, I would let diplomacy do its thing.

When are you people going to stop with this kind of statement? Brown people and Iran do not mix. Check up on what color the vast majority of Iranians are. Give you a hint: It is not brown.

Trumped up nuclear weapons charges? Do you have your head in the ground? It is clear as day what the Iranians are up to. Did you also say this about N Korea before they actually tested and built a bomb? Do they need to drop a nuke on Tel-Aviv before you realize that maybe they were up to something?

Once you back up the claim that OD wants Iran to violate the NPT.

Well they weren't now where they?

Fine. Middle Eastern's then. I'll admit that given the mix of NSG's murder junkies, it's easy to confuse "brown people" with Mexican.

Did I say what type of charges? No. Besides, I remember people saying Iraq had ICBMs with nuclear warheads as clear as day too. When you cry wolf too many times, it's hard to take you seriously later.

As for North Korea, not really. I didn't know they had one until they tested it, but wasn't really expecting them to be able to make it given the general lack of resources.

As for "need to drop a nuke on Tel-Aviv", I've heard that kind of talk before. It was used to drum up a war on false charges. That cry wolf thing again.

Well this is a relief, finally the IAEA can deal with issue properly without political interference from those wackos who for some reason represent the USA.

It is going to make it much more difficult for Bush and the -Arabs/muslims-cant-have-nukes-crowd.. to interfere in Iranian internal affairs.

but there is still going to be some political interference... I am not holding my breath.

Kuwait Gov views agreement between Iran, IAEA as positive step
September 28, 2007

Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber al-Mubarak al-Hamad al-Sabah welcomed on Thursday the agreement between Iran and IAEA, saying it is an important step "on the road to dispel fears and doubts" surrounding Iranian nuclear program.

Speaking at the general debate of the 62nd session of the UN General Assembly, Sabah called upon the international community to join efforts and continue to work for the purpose of reaching a peaceful solution to this crisis, and to spare the Gulf Region from any crisis that would disrupt its security and stability.

remember,
Hussein did NOT kick out the inspectors in 1998.
Clinton pulled the inspectors so he could bomb.

former weapons inspectors, us marine, and republican who voted for W the first time around, Scott Ritter says this as well.

even the news from 1998 said this.
but see how they change the line (and say basically what the gov't says)
