UN General Assembly

I have just been reading through the speeches of the various heads of states/government (or their reps) to the UN General Assembly, and I thought I'd share my opinion on it. They are all basically the same, with the obvious deviation around, but they all talk about international institutions, nuclear disarmament, global warming, commitment to cooperation and that's it. Why don't they just speak what is really on their minds, why don't they say what they really think the problems of the world are, and what their opinion on appropriate responses should be. The whole thing is like a long, long droning line of never ending 'consensus', I applaud Ahmadinejad and Ortega for actually speaking their minds.

it's much better than the undemocratic security council, made up of
the colonial powers of the time.
