So, what does everyone think about the current situation in Myanmar?
For those who don't know, recently a new "constitution" was adopted and numerous protests in multiple cities staged primarily by Buddhist monks, though it was estimated today in the capital that about 100,000 people marched in protest.
Basically, I'm wondering if this will go as previous protests against the junta government and be crushed or if change will be the end result? If the protesters are dispersed will international pressure force the Junta to adopt democracy or will nothing come of this publicity?

Personally I think the protesters will get cracked down on and more sanctions will be threatened, but in the end nothing will compel the Burmese government to change anymore than we have been able to change the course of nations such as Iran and North Korea without using force, which is clearly not an option.
