Rarely anything about Dick shocks me anymore. Perhaps it is because I am jaded from knowing too much...

Well, anyways, I just saw a news blurb saying Cheney is considering asking Israel to nuke Iran's nuclear facilities.

I think that just about sums everything up.:eek::upyours::eek::upyours:

There's a reason Iraq struck at Israel during the first Gulf War. They could reach it.

Similarly, while Iran may well have nuclear weapons, they lack the delivery vehicles to strike at the US. But they could strike at Israel.

So, since any major immediate response to an attack on Iran is likely to be a strike against Israel (either the Islamic guys think Israel is a sort of American proxy, or they just want an excuse to blow up Israel), it makes some sense to ask Israel to take on all of the risk, since they mostly have it anyway.
