I think we should all observe a moment of silence. :(

LG, I do not beleive we should have a moment of silence for a man who spent his whole career being quiet... in fact we should do just the inverse and speak loudly about it, reporting his passing to anyone who will listen.. or won't listen for that. Of course, we could also try and mime it....

Marcel Marceau would approve.

A Quiet Riot! Cum Feel the Noise!

Man, that song's not their best. Try Metal Health.

Yes, Metal Health is much better BUT.. Cum Feel the Noise works for this thread. We will be rioting silently in a tribute to mister Marceau. So the noices would only be felt.. not heard to the victims... I mean audience...

Should we? or should we instead give him a shout-out?

:(

Seemed like the only appropriate response.

I have a great deal of respect for anyone that invests that much of their heart and soul in their art. The second big loss in just a few weeks.

His presence will still live on, though... only this week I have watched films with my kids ("Flushed Away", and some new "Barbie" movie) and an episode of Powerpuff Girls, that contain (perhaps unwitting) tribute to Marceau.

I'm not sure if it's something to celebrate or to mourn, that he informed the culture to such an extent and yet he is almost invisible....

I don't think many people completely understand his impact on modern acting.

A mime is a terible thing to waste. *nod*
