related presidents

Beyond the close relationship of Bush Sr & Jr, the Roosevelts, and the Adamses, just about all other presidents are related to a number of others. They might be distant cousins.
For example, while John Kerry is not president, he is something like 17th cousin the GWBush. And GWBush is something like 17th cousin to Prince Henry of the UK. Distant? Sure. But still way closer than most of us.
I am interested in related presidnets.
????
Once came across a website in which you could click on the pic of a former US president and the page would come up showing pics of all other related former US presidents and their relationship.
????
Does anybody know of this page and can post it for us?
It shows very few presidents who were related to no other president.
It claims Bill Clinton was related to no other president.
It seems one must be from a sort of "ruling family" to get into high office.
This (ruling families or class) is, of course, antithetical to US democracy. But it is just the way it is.

despite 17th being a long way from 1st or 2nd cousin.
the randomly selected American is probably no where near that (17th) to the president. unless their ancestors came from England, then their chances are greater, but still a lot further than 17th

Wow..
I can feel the kinship.
Nothing says family like 17 generations of separation..or rather a 17th generation of relation.

They did a study not long ago -- if you go back 30-32 generations, just about everyone is related.
If you go back about 60,000 years, you find a man who's the ancestor of all currenlt living humans.
And if you go back 3.6-4.1 billion years, you should find a monocellular creature who's the ancestor of ALL creatures on earth -- humans, caterpillars, amoebas, bamboo trees -- you name it.

yeah, way to deny existence of oligarchy by laughing away a distant relative that is very close compared to most of us.

I am your nth cousin, and I resent that statement.
