in veiw of all these multiple threads on one subject, (in this case, the metor crater in Peru)

How far back do you go on these boards to search for Threads worthy of your time.

and this is NO counting the occasional gravedig, this is only on average, how far back do you go?

Yes, Pancake is the "other" option.

By the time they drop off the bottom it's like kicking a dead horse to revive them.

When I see one come back a week later, it usually brings a sad groan.

I do a key term search to see if it's come up. If that doesn't reveal anything I go for it.

If it's major news I assume there are already five threads on it, the last two being filled with just, "Dude, there's already three/four threads on this" and a few half assed attempts to legitimize the latecomer threads.

This forum has pages?

I thought every thread was destroyed if it fell off of the bottom of the forum, and that threads claiming to be older are just mod conspiracies.

if im looking for an interesting thread that i havent read yet i dont normally go farther than the 2nd page.

if im looking for a thread that i have posted in it has to be on the front page for me to post in it again unless someone has responded to one of my posts in a thoughtful manner and only then will i drag it off the one of the default pages to respond to. if its just to make a pissy response to someone, i wont respond unless its on the front page.

Usually three pages. I will go more if there is an interesting thread.
