Another republican gay sex scandal

This one seems to have slipped through the cracks, even though it left three dead in it wake. What's so bizarre about this one is the intricacy. It's amazingly complicated, and spread out to nearly the entire US southeast GOP. It's got everything. A gay love triangle, a GOP gay brothel, election fraud, illegal contributions, and even a US Marine from the DC unit.

* McHenry's apparently a good friend of the former National Young Republican Chairman, Glenn Murphy. Yes, that Glenn Murphy -- the one arrested for sexually assaulting a sleeping man, performing oral sex on him (image of police report here). McHenry supported him for the National Young Republican Chairmanship.
What the hell?
See, this kind of thing is what makes me think that Fred Phelps is super gay.
No, I don't know what would constitute 'super gay.'

The difference being that those three people wouldn't be part of a major political party who has a fundemental base both demonizing homosexuality and restricting their rights, nor will those people have published anti-homosexual material to further that agenda.
It's not that three gay people killed each other, it's three Father Teds...

The thing that makes this notable is the fact that it's all owned squarely by the republican party. You know, the party that's trying so desperately to crush the gays under their jackboots.

You don't have to. The GOP loves apathy. It's almost as effective for them as cheating.

Coming soon, to a theatre near you: Brokeback Mountain 2 - The Right Revenge. This time, it's really gay.

The article this thread works off of offers almost zero in certainly within any of the facts laid out. It described no connections which would indicate any romantic relations, and focus's on allegations and gossip.... so what scandal occurred here?
There is probably a good reason why the local newspaper scraped the original heading for their investigative report and why mainstream media hasn't picked up this story yet. I don't know what those reason maybe, but given the state of politics today, if this were a juicy story, OJ would be having some competition right now!

Please. Pastor Teds. Many of us who love a comedy classsic will be offended by that slip.
:D
Still, one can't help but wonder. How high do you think this Republican hypocrisy can really go? Will there be a good chance Bush and Cheney will get caught doing some indiscretion in the Oval Office? If so, will there be a stain involved?

hold on everybody, brace yourselves...I'm a conservative. Hypocrits of any creed need to be outed for the sake of the truth. Whether it's gays screaming family values or Al Gore flying on a private jet, the truth is most important. Living a lie is good for nobody.

I dislike both parties equally...just for the record
The only reason Republicans are against gay marriage is so they don't have to endure their sexual partners asking them about when will they pop the question.

what about Democrat Bill Clinton? He signed the Defense of Marriage Act (1 U.S.C. § 7 and 28 U.S.C. § 1738C) in 1996. The House of Representitives passed it 342-67. There were not 342 Republicans in the House. Some Democrats are opposed to gay marriage as well.

at some point we're going to stop calling them scandals. i mean, this one is particularly strange, but republicans getting off on the whole closeted jackboots thing is just sort of standard operating procedure. i assume cheney had rather elaborate village people-based dance parties in the 'undisclosed locations' he hangs out in, and that trent lott has been having sex with african american boys aged 16-19 since 1973, for example.

Eww dude but some clothes on.
Does the Republican hypocrisy ever stop?? Well at least he's somewhat cute.
Is Bill Clinton a closet homosexual as well?
Maybe, maybe not. But the party that mostly took on the "kill all gays" thing is the Republican one. Y'know, the one of Mark Foley, this one scandal, the congressman that was found sucking some cock, and on and on. But, then, if a party is willing to kill and destroy other nations and peoples, surely it's also willing to be a hypocrite about homosexuality. I favor homosexuals, without being one. The Republicans condemn them, and... well... Q.E.D.

Weak sauce. The reason that it's so easy to nail the republican party on this issue is because they, and I say they because it's damn near every one of them, are soooo strident in their desire to turn gays into the next untermensch. Couple this outward demeanor with guys like Foley, or any of the numerous others who've been caught exposing their gayness...
It's all about the idea that seems to permeate the party that it's okay not to practice what you preach, or even to live up to one's own convictions. It happens a lot with the right, like a person trying to make a world population of tall, blonde-haired, blue-eyed people while being a short, ugly, dumpy brunette, with brown eyes.
