Well, kind of. A brain study published a couple of weeks ago shows people with conservative political views tend to have more knee-jerk reactions and are less open to new experiences than liberals. Surprise, surprise. ;)

Conservatives fear change that is ultimately stupid and will make matters worse in the long run.
Good Progress on the other hand is welcome by most conservatives.
