While I love George Carlin and Richard Pryor, I have to say that Dane Cook is off the wall hilarious and I laugh my ass off listening to Russell Peters.

Jeff Dunham. He's a ventriloquist. Hilarious. Been on Comedy Central a few times.

Oh, and nothing can every possibly beat Robin Williams doing stand-up.

Soviet, you do know that Mitch Hedberg is dead, right?

On the given list, I would say Sarah Silverman. Not on the list, I'll have to go with John Cleese.

OOC:
Of those listed, I'd have to say George Carlin. However, I CHALLENGE THE SANCTITY OF THE LIST! I also waggle a finger in your general direction. There's easily a couple hundred comedians better than most of the names on the list. Carlin could stand toe to toe with the best of them though. You know why? When he was a child he was raised in New Jersey. HE SWAM IN RAW SEWAGE! That'll make any comedian hardy.

I like too many to count, Brian Regan, Jim Gaffigan, and Pablo Fransisco are all great along with a couple other comedians I think are pretty good. Dane Cook isn't half bad himself. But I'd say my all time favorites would have to be a tie between Mitch Hedberg and Demitri Martin. I voted for Mitch just because he was actually on the ballot.

Honourable mentions go to Eddie Izzard and Stewart Lee. Two funny men; one in a frock and lippy.

Your list sucks. I mean, it really sucks.

The answers are (in no particular order):

Robbin Williams

Russell Peters

John Pinette

Steven Lynch

Dane Cook

And of course, Gabriel Iglasias (probably didn't spell that right)

NERVUN is also right, the Marx brothers are timeless comedians.

You know what I've noticed about you, Soviestan? You're interested in the most simple things... (Big things actually) .. what we eat.. how we sleep.. who we like.... you are so interested.

Before (or at my entrance) this, you were into communism .. I never saw that, But I've seen many conversions of it with you, ppl calling you on it etc. (No Problem). What I gather tho..(I of course could very well be wrong) .. is, you just go head first into whatever it is you are studying.. you are all the way , not half assed. You've made many changes here, and will continue.. I take it you are late teens.. early twenties... ?

You have passion .. zeal. Don't burn it up.

Dane Cook is funny...if you're into young male humor..same for Stephen Lynch...

Lewis Black is funny...George Carlin makes a discussion on suicide funny...Robin Williams...

Chris Farley...who can forget the van down by the river...or the dance off for Chippendale's

There are too many greats to pick from...

Oh. My. God.

Did you just do put in Mitch Hedberg and leave out Lewis Black completely? Is it just me, or is there something terribly wrong with that? Don't take this personally, but honestly, old Mitchell, Mitch, Mitchum, or whatever the hell his name might be, is one of the most over-rated "comedians" of the past decade and a half, mostly because he died recently, and his fans were a bunch of acid-dropping mush brains. Sorry to break it to you, but the man was barely funny, usually not worth a chuckle, if I have anything to say about it.
</Cox>

Aside from the overly-negative tone of the above paragraph, I largely agree with what it says.
