If so, what do you smoke?

I fancy a nice cigar once in a while, and have tried Shisha, which is very lovely.

Cigarettes and cigars occasionally during parties/long nights (because my student club bar is a 'closed' bar, we can avoid the Dutch ban on smoking in bars and restaurants), hookah if one of my friends bothers setting it up, pot when I feel like it (rarely more than once a month).

Yes. Normally, I mostly smoke turkey breast, along with a few hams for variety.

I can't. See, the problem is, I'm frequently plagued by horrible gas. Flatulence + open flame = bad for me.

Anyway, to finally be truthful I smoke a bit of weed, cigars when we feel like acting like pricks and sloshing brandy on each other in a cheap bar somewhere, and cigarettes when I'm so drunk I can't see, much less remember (ooold teenage habits dies hard :p)

Really? I thought that was an excellent summary of the smoking debate.

No I don't enjoy breathing smoke. If I did I'd find something cheaper to burn then cigarettes. Maybe wood, paper or ordinary grass, those things can produce smoke too... In other words I don't understand smoking at all. Trying it didn't enlighten me either, just made me cough.

Never ciggs, cigars only!

Yep. I smoke what I like, when I like, and wherever I like. Just today at my (essentially smoke-free) campus, some douche made a point to come outside and tell me to take my cigarette "to a designated smoking area" because it was "harming" him. Funny, because it wasn't doing shit to him until he walked outside for the sole purpose of threatening me with the campus "police." After making it clear that I wasn't moving by ignoring him, he called the campus coppers who, funny enough, failed to show up. And it's not like I didn't WAIT fifteen minutes for them. :upyours:

I don't. I don't mind when people smoke outside, but inside smoking bothers me. I hate visiting a smoking friend's house or a bar. I come home completely saturated.

For myself, just the green stuff (pot, not money... although now I think about it, arguably I'm 'smoking' both).

Anyway, I don't smoke myself, seeing as how I'd rather avoid addiction and the various diseases and cancers. However, there is a cigar shop at a nearby shopping mall that I will walk by more slowly in order to enjoy the smell from inside. As soon as someone invents an emphysema/cancer vaccine, I'm moving in. :D

Seriously, though, I don't, at all. I grew up with my parents smoking and spent the first eight years of my life trying to make them quit. They quit, but not because of me.

I do not generally smoke, but could not resist the Shisha when I lived in Egypt… Sitting laidback in an ‘ahwa (qahwa/ coffeehouse), sipping shay-bi-na’na (tea with mint) or ‘ahwa mazbut (sweet turkish coffee) and smoking the shisha: life does not get much better :)

A pipe occasionally.



All I need now are some tweeds.
