Also, the good thing about autumn is that the weather here doesn't have to get worse compared to now :p

What am I looking forward to? Why, that thrice-hallowed eve abroad, when ghosts, as cottage maids believe, their pebbled beds permitted, leave, and goblins rise from fire or fen to walk once more the Walks of Men.

I am looking forward to November, it's my favorite month of the year, it's National Novel Writing Month, and the anniversary of when hubby proposed, and Thanksgiving, and Black Friday shopping. Also, we take the kids out for autumn pictures in the park while the leaves are pretty colors.

Do you have any idea what you'll be writing this year? I'm considering a screenplay, since I've had a good idea for a film and that's the course I'm taking at art school from September 24th.

I am probably going to write a comedy. The last 2 years I have attempted mysteries but they end up being hilarious, so I guess I will give in.

I'm kinda pissed I missed the Pumpkins if only cos, well, it's (part of) the Pumpkins - a similar feeling of regret for missing the Pixies for Kasabian (albeit one of the best gigs of my life).

Apart from that, the only people I met in the Klaxons were experiencing huge rushes of serotonin and oxytocin of a chemically-induced nature. I got a 5 minute jumping hug of some girl who decided I was soft and jumped about with a load of wide-pupiled randomers who liked my glowsticks. Much like a rave, except I was stone cold sober (for once). Apparently they were only any good down the front, all of the people out for a casual watch thought they were a bit pants. Kind of bad to say, really, but the highlight of my weekend was finally getting to see We Are Scientists (complete with new material, yay!). Sums up a poor Leeds Fest line-up and yet one of the best I've been to :)

Ant Keidis broke a guitar at Reading, and then didn't say a sodding word to the audiance for the whole 2 hours. At least Tom Delong, in between getting bottled and acting a ****, took the effort to have a go at the crowd.

I've lived in Florida my whole life, and I get cold really easily. And my Dad gets warm really easily, so the air conditioning is always somewhere around 74 degrees Fahrenheit. As much as I agree with the sentiment, I have a feeling that such legislation may prove difficult to enforce. I guess we could try having NASA fill a space shuttle up with Cease and Desist orders and fire it at the Sun.
