Anyone who really follows American politics and political culture knows about Mike Gerson, Bush's much-lauded speech writer.
Turns out he didn't write most of what he has taken credit for.
The Atlantic has a piece by another of Bush's speech writers explaining Gerson's sleaziness in detail.

This 'evangelical' 'spiritual scribe' is as much a self-serving, bankrupt fraud as the rest in that nest of rats on Pennsylvania avenue.
