This is a local ad for KCR train company that was made in 1993. It was only shown a few times before being pulled from the air due to numerous complaints.
Reasons?
Apparently there's a face that can be seen on one of the trees right at the start (1-2 second mark) [I can't for the life of me see it]
At the 25-27s mark, watch closely: There's 6 kids in the line-up, with a fat boy at the back. A split second later there's now a girl with her head down bringing up the rear (while every other child has their heads up). Next shot, it's 6 kids again, again with fatboy at the rear.

Stories abound about this ad:
Apparently the girl in that scene only showed up on the film, no-one saw her while the shot was being taken. Another story is that fatboy (the only one the 'ghostgirl' was touching) died shortly afterwards. 3rd story is that there was meant to be 7 kids but one didn't show up on the day of the filming so it was shot without her - they later found out she had died in an accident that day.

What gets me is that even without the 7th ghost girl, it's still a very creepy ad. 6 (7?) kids alone in a misty forest at twilight is meant to show fun? for whom? John Wayne Gacy? And then there's the music...*shudder*

Stop at 00:35 and look at the window, you'll see the 'ghost boy'. As it turns out, it's just a cut out of a guy in a top hat and 3 piece suit.

Didn't see the face, but did catch the barest glimpse of the seventh girl obscured by the other kids-heard about the "Three Men and a Baby" ghost, but am still looking for the man hanging himself in the background in "The Wizard of Oz"-love how ghosts are so prevalent in the modern psyche even modern science can't banish them.

The '3 men and a baby' one is pretty lame - it's obvious a 2-D picture.
I heard of another 'ghost in the window' from a Japanese Horror movie. Not Ringu but another pretty popular one. I read an interview with the Director who said the flat they were filming in felt spooky and they were told a kid died there previously. In the film you can apparently see a kid standing outside on the balcony looking in - who wasn't there during filming.
Can't remember the name of the movie, I'm afraid.

It's so obviously a bird, I can't see how anyone can mistake that for anything else.

When I watched the Wizard of Oz one it looked like someone doing acrobatics and using the trees. Almost like a pole dancer, since I know those would make a more relatable example than the circus.

But dressed in a munchkin suit.


By no stretch of the imagination is it a suicide though.

I'm still counting six kids even with the girl with the head down, and she looks like the girl with the single pony tail on the top right of her head in the previous angle. (who also looks down right before the cut)

I've gone over it a few times now and I still can't count seven kids in the straight on shot.

It seems more like a continuity problem.

I think it's just a continuity error. It cuts off pretty suddenly at the start, where you see the first six sets of legs. They could possibly have filmed more and then cut for length. At the last scene, they moved the camera, kids scattered until they were ready to film again, and the girl was put in the middle of the line. As for why we can't see her face, she was probably watching her feet, maybe having a little trouble keeping up?

It's called continuity error. It occurs when you have multiple takes and unfocussed actors. Let alone children. They employ people to make sure stuff like this doesn't happen. Look carefully in most movies you will find little tiny errors, like a door not swinging as a character enters, or an untucked shirt that was previously tucked, etc.

Nice one. Problem is with any ghost, UFO, Bigfoot videos they all can be faked. It is so easy now days to make a realistic video that is fake. I am resigned to the fact if I do not see it with my own eyes it is probably bullshit. I recall very little video of ghosts or UFO's before the advent of the home pc. Is that a coincidence?

Not really, most of the UFO footage pre 1990's was garbage. There was first hand accounts but very little video. I grew up watching it on tv. Wasn't until after the 90's that there was some rather realistic footage. So I contribute that to the advent of the pc.

It's not that you don't have the point of the clearer videos. It's that you are applying the technology of PC's, in doctoring, as the case, when obviously the technology used TO FILM THE EVENTS THEMSELVES is of higher grade.

I will give you that however the footage today is substantially better then any footage that was taken in the 60's to 80's. When I say that I mean they do not look like a 50's sci fi kind of fake as they were in the past. The crap that was released in the past was so obviously BS to todays standards they only have really one conclusion which is BS. That is the point really I am trying to get at. Quality of video recording aside that is.

I cannot recall any video except for the one video of the Bigfoot crossing the open field from the 60's that was not obviously fake. There simply was nothing. Almost all of the accounts of ghosts, UFO's and such were written accounts from anything previous 1990's. If anyone wants to remind me of a recorded video event previous to the 90's that looked real please post it.

I saw the girl, although I can't tell if she's behind the large boy, or actually the person in front of him. Its odd with this angle.
