We said we wanted to do this, and for all those silly people that couldn't be bothered to make the first one or had left town for the summer, perhaps you'll be able to make this.

There are some very specific dates because that's when Gasponia will be in town in October. Of course, given the way the poll went on the first one, it's better to narrow it down initially so people have less options.

As to place, I think a general consensus was to try SF proper this time. Even Golden Gate Park and a BBQ was raised as an option I believe. October is quite a decent month in San Francisco, but in the evening it's pretty certain that the fog will roll in, so a retreat place might be nice if we try something in the Park.

So... any suggestions on where to hold this, or given our previous meet, places to go to after we get bored at the first place, and the second place, and third.... and cold... :p If you have days you're extremely for or against, please say that to help people that have no real preference.

I'll be available for rides, if CToaN is coming I assume I'm giving him a ride. :p Other people can probably figure out transit quite easily anywhere we go.

I actually might be in SF on the 20th because I'm going there on the 19th for a concert. If it happens though, and there were any chance I could go, it would have to start early because I'd like to be in Los Angeles that night to catch another concert.

As per the last time, barring a sudden outbreak of work I'll be there. At least one of my vans should be working, I might be even able to return the ride favor-depending on how brave Erastide is ;p. Probably best to do it the old way, but it's there...

I still think we have a shinagins bar to meet from the English meets. We should be uncertain if at least one person made it home alive...

Allow me! How hard is it to get from San Diego to SF? I'm going to have to do SF at some point during the year, so I may as well see you lot as well! I don't mind making a weekend of it. Hmm. Strangely, I don't think I have a conflict with any of these dates... I will have to come up from Santa Cruz, but that's no biggy.

I will be staying with Erastide, so I'll be going where she goes, when she goes, so yeah. Any of those four is fine with me! :)

Well, the important thing to remember is that arc of tension when pressing the clutch is when it engages, just ease through that while giving it some gas and you'll be fine...

I was wondering... you could come from the Philly area you know. Just to meet some lovely people in the Bay Area.

As nice as it would be, going across the country by myself is completely impossible for me... Also, I am officially of the NYC area, not the Philly area. :p

I should be workin' days by October (hence not likely to blow off the meet in favor of sleep like last time...), but those days will include Saturdays...

So I vote on a Sunday, either is fine.
