7/24 at 10 in the morning is the time in which I ordered a boom stand, a counter weight, and most importantly, a 'scratch and dent' zildjian splash. I got one thing, the boom stand. I understand that with their move, it takes time to get these things out. However, it's been over a month now, and all of these items were listed in stock... and to add to that, they say that the items should in fact be shipped on august 3rd!!! Customer service isn't even useful because the 2 times I asked for help, they told me the same thing, "Well, did you know our store has been relocated..." Yea, I know that, it was relocated well over a month and a half ago, and there was a date listed in which ALL in-stock items were to be shipped... Does anybody have any clue as how to go about this situation. My head is going to explode, and that just might be for the better.:headbang:

I have no idea what that was about. From what I got you didn't get stuff you ordered or something. I would sue them for the cost of the goods(including the boom stand) and say you received nothing.

Ah, yes, the wonders of a JIT inventory system...

Even to my lowly mind, JIT (which stands for Just-in-Time, which is how just about everything, including, rather foolishly, supermarkets function) is a flawed system. There's simply not enough redundancy.

But yeah, I'd look at taking your custom elswhere in future.

honestly, I don't mind Supermarkets with that standard... after all, I would like to know that the fruit is fresh and havent been sitting in some warehouse for a week or two before being brought out. :p

HINT: Buy from Sweetwater or a local, mom-and-pop type store.

I'm taking it these were for a drumset or similar instrument... contact customer service, if they give you the same reply, tell them you want to talk to thier manager, eventually if you are abig enough pain in the ass they will give you to someone who actually has authority and can get something done; barring that threaten to sue them for the cost of the goods you have not recieved PLUS extra for the aggravtion caused by this... if you call it 'pain and suffering' or 'mental anguish' they might start listening. Don't be surprised if a lawyer calls you on the other line and asks if you need representation when you mention either of those buzz words...

I have purchased from them in the past and had troubles also with a $2000 order. They eventually gave me a $100 gift certificate.

For the most part I am still happy - though I will NEVER buy their 'refurbished' stock. My second order from them was a 'refurbished' keyboard. When I received it it was just a re-boxed board that still was broken. Shipping back a 100lb board is a PITA!

My advice for you would be to cancel the order you have placed. AFIK they don't charge you until the item ships. If they have charged and the item hasn't shipped then call your credit card and have the charge reversed.

Also - I would avoid EBAY. IT has turned into a scammers paradise. They may as well change it's name to NigeriaBAY. I've had nothing but trouble with the last few EBAY transactions I've done. I've caught the scammers and never lost anything but my time - but WTF - I'm not there to bust scammers - I'm there to shop. Worst of all EBAY does not really seem to care...

Amazon is where I shop now and each transaction has been wonderful e commerce goodness.

It's the result of trying to apply a production line concept to everything in business and pretending it would get the same results.

Honestly, most of the stuff I've bought off of eBay was East Asian, Thailand and Hong Kong, specifically. Those World Cup jerseys were perfect, and for $20 wasn't bad.

Doesn't the feedback do anything?
