Me and a bunch of classmates were withheld after school by the police, who claimed we had been littering. It's true there was litter, but all the people they withheld weren't the people who did the littering (me included).
Fortunately, one of my friends called his mom who called the mayor who had the whole thing called off. After all, even if we were the culprits, there was no proof that we had done it, as they had merely caught us going out of school in a place that had been littered during the lunch period (three hours earlier, so they were three hours late).
Does that count as arrested?

I spent two nights in jail for DWI, felony Leaving the Scene of an Accident (which got dropped, thank god), and possession of an illicit substance (I had a freaking roach in my ashtray; and I don't even smoke! :upyours: ).

So Sunday morning 9M 2 BIG BURLY COPS CAME SEARCHED MY HOUSE AND CAR AND ARRESTED ME. oops sorry about the caps. Then they falsified my custody record and questioned me, kept me for 5 hours and bailed me.
two weeks later they decided it was not in the public interest to proceed.

Well, there's a funny story about that... Ya' see, now it all started two Thanksgivings ago, was on - two years ago on Thanksgiving, when my friend and I went up to visit Alice at the restaurant, but Alice doesn't live in the restaurant, she lives in the church nearby the restaurant, in the bell-tower, with her husband Ray and Fasha the dog... ;)

I'm in the UK. A couple of years ago the law was changed, the police can now arrest you for ANYTHING - they just have to justify it afterwards.
My custody record said I had no illnesses and had not taken medication - I'm disabled - i walk with a stick and a hell of a limp. I also took prescription medication in front of them (they got me the water to wash it down), they are supposed to call a doctor before they allow you to take medication.
Oh and surprise surprise the CCTV in the custody suite - the video tapes are blank - ALL OF THEM and this is the force that claims it has the most sophisticated CCTV system in the UK.
Can you tell I'm bitter - oh and yes I do have a solicitor - a specialist in human rights.
Yes I was arrested, not just questiond but arrested, DNA tested, finger printed etc, etc - and i can't get the DNA off the criminal data base.
