Throw in "God" and "resolve" and I bet you'd get 90% of the rest of the speech.

Maybe I'm stupid here, but does anyone else see the need for flame throwers in Baghdad? Seriously, ever since they've been banned nothing good has come from it. What is better at making your enemy submit to be good like thousand degree flames?

Meh, no real tactical use for them, and we already have Willy Peter to do that.

that alqaede/iraq/binladen thing puts me right into a rant.

if bush wants us to start believing him about iraq he has to stop this moronic obsession with alqaeda.

yes alqaeda is in iraq. WE INVITED THEM IN BY INVADING IRAQ THEN TAUNTING THEM TO BRING IT ON. they werent in iraq before we were in iraq. we are the reason they are there.

alqaeda doesnt run iraq. they arent the reason iraq is a mess. they dont run the insurgency. they are not the cause of the civil war. if we (or the iraqis) killed every last alqaeda member in iraq it would make no difference to the problems that iraq has now. well ok it would make a difference but the difference wouldnt be better.

mr bush's insistence on tying all the problems of iraq to alqaeda indicates that he is as clueless as ever as to why our invasion has failed.

Actually they are the root cause of the civil war when one of their suicide bombers blew up the Golden Mosque, I think it was.

Seriously, You linked to a page THAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT BY GETTING RID OF EVERYTHING ELSE!

He says NOTHING about Invading Iraq because Al Qaeda is there, or that Saddam and Iraq was connected to 9-11.

He also doesn't mention the Al-Qaeda (I swear there's a u in there, but I'm to lazy to Wiki right now) wasn't active in Iraq until after the invasion. He also doesn't mention the A-Q in Iraq seems to have only the loosest organizational links with the main body of A-Q, and really doesn't seem to be taking marching orders from bin Laden. The invasion created a breeding ground for terrorists and insurgents.

Seriously, You linked to a page THAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT BY GETTING RID OF EVERYTHING ELSE!

He says NOTHING about Invading Iraq because Al Qaeda is there, or that Saddam and Iraq was connected to 9-11.
He makes several references, and especially this one:

In 2001, coalition forces destroyed Zarqawi's Afghan training camp, and he fled the country and he went to Iraq, where he set up operations with terrorist associates long before the arrival of coalition forces.

And then there is the subtle use of the sledge hamer:

I've explained the connection between al Qaida and its Iraqi affiliate. I presented intelligence that clearly establishes this connection. The facts are that al Qaida terrorists killed Americans on 9/11, they're fighting us in Iraq and across the world, and they are plotting to kill Americans here at home again.
You Busheviks are all alike. You love chaos.

The only reason they weren't there before is because of Saddam. He probably would have killed them.

Ironically, Saddam held Iraq together pretty well. Sure, it was a dictatorship... but there must've been minimal terrorism. Fear tends to be an awesome motivator in telling people to learn their place.

Oh well. Its all the same old song and dance we've heard for 7 years now. Who is surprised that the president thinks we're still moronic as we were back in '01?

I quit reading after he was just rambling and babbling. Then he go to the point of claiming that the war is fighting for peace in the US (paraphrased) and after that, I really quit reading.

Actually they are the root cause of the civil war when one of their suicide bombers blew up the Golden Mosque, I think it was.

Actually... wouldn't the root cause be the fact that Sunnis and Shiites hate each other in that country? If religious tensions weren't so high already, blowing up that mosque would have angered everyone, not caused sectarian violence.

Anyway, I haven't paid attention to Bush's speeches in years. It's just not healthy to get angry for no reason.

It reminds me of the Family Guy episode where Louis was running for Mayor and she says "9/11!" for every debate answer and people cheer. And she said "It is because what Jesus wants" in the beginning lol
