... and your experience with them. Any stories? Good or bad? Any professionals around here?

I actually worked as a mall security guard for a few months between graduating undergrad and getting my first real job. Although I thought some of my duties were pretty crappy (clearing out unaccompanied kids that weren't buying anything, making people stay out of the fountain, etc), now that I've been to law school I can understand why they have to do those things (i.e. liability). Most of the people I worked with were genuinely nice and I can't recall a time when any of them went on a power trip. Then again, our director of security was a retired Army Sgt Major and wouldn't put up with it.

There we were, just sitting warm and cozy, just about to share a little kiss. A police with a flashlight bright and nosy says "Holy mackerel there! What is all this?"

I am currently working in a mall. The rent-a-cops who make up the supposed security force spend more time shopping than copping (wow, that sort of came out wrong, but you know what I mean.)
