What happens if India breaks into Civil War?

On a list of underreported stories was one that India has been suffering from several rebel groups demanding independence. Below is the wiki article on the subject.

With the second largest population in the world (soon to be first) and the export of jobs by international corporations to India making it a major world economic power, what will happen internationally if India begins to break up? India is also the bridge between the Muslim Mid-East and East Asia. Could such a breakup draw in China and the oil wealth of the Muslim world? What would be the response of the US, EU, UK, etc. ? Why has the world press made this one of the most under reported stories?

Why hasn't the US gotten involvded? Maybe because we don't care. We only want to use the Indians for their cheap labour. If that goes away we'll chuck 'em, and move into Africa most likely.

It won't - I don't see any of these groups as a real threat to Indian territorial integrity.

Even if that was true, which it's not, so what?

Could such a breakup draw in China and the oil wealth of the Muslim world?
The Chinese probably wouldn't need to - they're already busy raping Africa.

Methinks Iraq is of more concern.

None of them are genuine separatist movement with majority support from the people they claim to represent.

That's why none of them succeeded and never will.

India is too fragmented to divide on its own. Those who know India can make sense out of that statement. Those who don't can never understand that.

Asoka turns in his grave.

Really none of those groups will gain enough support and if they do they will never win a war against the state.

If it does get out of hand I think the US government(coughcorporationscough) will protect its investment and try to bring "unity" back to the country.

You do not need to know India to know what that means. There are many nations in such a situation.

Yeah, but I do not think it is easy to get to. Could be wrong but I do not believe the production is high.

No, but it has lots of call center reserves. What better reason to send in the Marines?

Damn I hate that when you get a hold of a call center and the guy has such a thick accent you can't understand.

Was trying to get a hold a credit card customer service recently. I asked the guy rather rudely if there was anyone else that could help me and he got mad. Was funny after I thought about the whole conversation.
