As I'm sure some of you are sure there is an election coming up in the next few months in Australia where conservative leader John Howard may well be thrown out on his ass. And I'm sure there are a lot of other elections of interest across the world. So, with this in mind...
Assuming you are confident of victory on the election day, what songs will/would you be listening to? So far I have:
Les Fluer by 4-Hero (this is that song used in the Baileys commercials)
Do You Hear the People Sing from Les Miserables
Suggestions? I'm making up a playlist which I will be playing quite loud come victory.

I don't know, but I suggest 'End Of The World As We Know It' as a backup. :p

Well for those of us born around the mid 80's, the Howard govt for our adolescent/adult life is all we have really ever known, for that reason this election is important for the youtube generation, and I most certainly will be voting Labor.
For the Australian election, The Game - Let's Ride (Strip Club). I have no idea what the song is like, but the title seems appropriate.

Something vaguely patriotic like Sportfreunde Stiller's 54-74-90-2010, Niemann's 'Im Osten', 1000 Gründe (both the Ärzte song and the answer to Im Osten), Deutschland of 'die Prinzen' and stuff like this. Also CreativeCommons songs like Deus's 'There's Nothing Impossible', Freibeuter AG's 'Freies Land' and Die Partysahnen's 'Frühling in Finnland' (I do not live in Finnland but the lyrics are about the end of a end and gloomy time) come to mind.

I think ROckin in the Free World or the HOff's version of Hooked on a Feeling are appropriate as David Hasselhoff is a living symbol of liberty, justice and social progress.

Haha, indeed. Good theme but unfortunately made around the time TISM's music started going to shit. Maybe the Ballad of Paul Keating as it seems vaguely relevant. And also maybe Anarchy Means Crossing When Says 'Dont Walk'.
