There's a current thread up involving Dinaverg and Smunkeeville and a few other upstanding posters, where some extremely funny (IMNSHO) concepts were presented, and it occurred to me that there's some posters that say some of the funniest one-liners and concepts i've ever seen on any forum (not that i'm a forum slut or anything).

Which posters, in your opinion, have the most sigworthy lines?

I'd put up a poll, but that could be exclusionary, which isn't what i'm shooting for.

If you have an example or two, feel free to post it/them. Try to steer clear of spam, tastefully. :)

I honestly and truly, for fear of self-incrimination, feel i shouldn't go any further with this line of inquiry.

It's kind of funny. I was just told by a few posters, independently, that they thought I'd been around on NSG a lot longer than I actually have.

Still, I'm generally not very quote-worthy.

To date, I think the only time I've ever actually been quoted was when Kadgar quoted me on the subject of Quoting the Bible to support anti-global warming rhetoric.

Probably not. Being everywhere at once is generally what I do, but it's not really how I'd like to define myself. Mostly I find that a bit bland.

You know, more often than not, I'm only off topic because I've caught a tangent on a thread that interests me, and I'm merely folloiwng it. It's actually a rare event that I'm genuinely spamming, it just looks that way because I've pulled the conversation (quite effectively) into a tangent.

Edit: that's also largely the reason I post just about everywhere. The only threads I never, ever post in are the Palestine/Israel threads, because I just don't find them interesting.

Hmm, hard to say. It's not so much his comment, on it's own, as it is the appropriateness of his reply. Even if sometimes it's just "Kinky." I think he'd still fit.

The problem with that is that NSG sigs tend to be stripped of context. So not only to they have to be funny as responses to another post, but also in their own right. And "kinky" on its own simply isn't that funny.

Ifreann, LG and some of the more outrageous trolls that have passed through, but i've never actually sigged anyone except if they were saying something nice about me. i think i've been sigged two or 3 times but never quotes that i thought were particularly siggable. my most pithy and humourous quotes have so far gone un-noticed, i must have a different standard of pithyness and humour than everyone else.
