Has very few socks in it. Some stockings, lacy undies and a couple of fancy soaps to make it smell good. And I hide a stash of extra money in there when I don't want the roomies to know I still have cash.

It's my socks and underwear drawer, and it's the top left drawer of my dresser. It's currently really messy and piled up to the point where I can't see my alarm clock because I haven't had a chance to sort out all of the old clothes yet.

I usually wrap the guys at the top and toss them in haphazardly. Although I have a shoebox for dress socks.

Wow. I really wish I could do that. I used to hang up my t-shirts in order by colour, but then I started to fold them instead and put them on the top shelf of my closet, but yeah, my clothes are not stored in what you would call an organized manner.

I was in need of a vice, after trying all the rest of them, cutting, abusing drugs, drinking to excess, eating disorders, and generally spending money unwisely, I decided that uber-organization was probably the best to pick.

Mine is a huge drawer - top of the dresser. Underwear on the left, Socks on the right, "fancy lacy things" and bras in a basket beside the dresser.

We took the 4th bedroom and made it into the laundry room and communal closet ( Me, Husband and 5 year old son ). I'm not nearly as organized as Smunkee but I love having all the dressers in one place and all the wall space is covered with shelves. Keeps the bedrooms much cleaner. =)

Yay! Although this probably won't be for quite a while... especially if I end up going for a PhD (though if I take off out of the country for that that might limit the amount of stuff I end up having to organize).

And you probably should write a book about this since you seem to be good at it. Or you could try getting a job with Clean Sweep.

everything has a place, and even each sock has a particular place within the sock area, same with boxers, night shirts, dress socks, etc.


all my shirts that I wear during the day are hung up, with each one going directly in its spot
