I can't believe it myself, but Dick Cheney got it right thirteen years ago!

Check out this video from 1994 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YENbElb5-xY)

It's hard to understand how a man so pigheadedly steadfast as him can change in such a dramatic way given ANY amount of time... just watch.

OK, what I want to know is: Why the fuck didn't anyone confront Dick with this stuff back before the war when he was saying we'd be greeted as liberators and be in and out in a few weeks?

He apparently spoke about the stuff he said in the OP from like 1992-1996.

GAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *explodes*

A person's opinions, regardless of Republican talking points, can infact change.

I'm not disputing that. They could have asked him what changed since then. Why he thinks it would be a cakewalk now as opposed to an unmanagable quagmire back in 1996. Noone broght it up is my point. He would likely have given a bullshit answer as usual but it bugs me how long it took for this to come to light.

Why he thinks it would be a cakewalk now as opposed to an unmanagable quagmire back in 1996. in the 90s he was justifying the US Gov backstabing the Revolutionary Shiites.
in the 00s he was justifying the upcoming US invasion.

Also there is the probability that in the 90s Halliburton was not in a position to make a move... or he was not even an associate owner of Halliburton.

This is the only NSG rules I dislike, sometimes I feel like confronting a neocon poster with the stupid fallacies he posted 3 months/years ago.. But I cant (Forum rules)

For example I would like to confront all the anti-Chavez idiots.. posting 2/3 years ago "Venezuela economy is about to fall apart.. anytime soon.. the end is near for Venezuela economy.. etc etc etc.."
