Idealist. What's the point in being a realist? That's just like accepting failure before you start out.

I picked both because both terms suck, realist's are boring and idealist sounds wrong.

Baisicly do whatever you want and with hardwork you'll get it,

I came to this relization while in a class where the professor was doing a session/lecture/nap session on that glass half full or empty thing. My response was "Who took the other half?"

I was the only one who thought of that. I realized I was profoundly different from everyone else then.

being a realist is having the glass full; and the idealist would be a mix of opptomist and pesamist.

A realist is having the glass full, partially with some liquid and partially with air. *nods*

Or...a realist sees what's possible. An idealist sees what should be possible.

well now that isnt entirly true because you can see what is possible but still think about what can or should be possible; just think when man first flew before that period everyone thought that it wasnt possible and now that we can the thought of flight is being a realist.

Well, no, not everyone thought it wasn't possible. Some thought it was impossible, they were the realists, flight simply wasn't possible at the time, and some thought it was possible, those were the idealists; they believed it should be possible, or that it would be possible. The idealists won that one, as they often do.

I am the guy whose response was "Well, I don't care whether it's half full or half empty. It's there. I want to drink it."

My response has always been that it's halfway in between full and empty. Screw good and bad.
