So on Friday night the SciFi channel unveiled their newest original series, Flash Gordon.
When I heard about this I was hopful. Knowing that Battlestar Galactica will do only one more season I've been looking for a new TV show to fall in love with. Having watched various incarnations of Flash Gordon in my childhood, I hoped that SciFi could do for the franchise what it had done for BSG.
I couldn't make it past the second commercial break. The writing sucked. The acting was marginal. Whoever wrote the lines for the hispanic guy who drove the truck obviously has never had any formal training in Spanish, and the logical errors were mounting.
Did anyone see this through to the end and found that it got better?
