This is the new rockhall thread, lets get it on!
Rockhalla the legendary place from mythology where the loud and proud live on in eternal jam-session glory! Lorded over by Theodore Logan and Bill S. Preston (Esquire) the denizens of this immortal concert hall live forever in a rock filled drug induced haze; but alas, who is worthy of such a privilege?
This is the place where you can nominate, discuss, and argue the greatest rock and roll bands of all time! But they don't just have to be rock and roll, blues, jazz, soul, and any type of music that had a direct affect on rock and roll is also acceptable.
Da Rules
1. You must post the band and why you beleive they deserve to go to Rockhalla
2. No Flaming
3. Try to stick to bands with at least 10 years of existance to show they have staying power.

I nominate the Doors and the Who. Both those bands had a hand in shaping musical styles in the following decades (70's and 80's)
