what mixer (juice, pop et c) goes well with both vodka and tequila? I have a bottle of each that I should polish off.

If none, one suggestion for each is appreciated.

They both go good with OJ and if you drink enough you get your five servings of fruits and vegetables as reccomended by the FDA. :)

Tequilla sunrise:

tequilla, OJ, splash of grenadine. Let the grenadine sink to the bottom and it looks like a sunrise.

I don't like tequila straight, actually I'm not generally a fan of it at all, which is why I haven't already killed off the bottle, same goes with this particular vodka (smirnoff) I've killed two bottles of another vodka in the time I've had this one because the other one I can drink straight and this one sucks.

Though it works with cream soda, it seems. (the orange juice was overpriced at the gas station and the pop was on sale... I'm hoping that the tequila will go with the orange pop...)

id go with a strawberry margarita mix. its yummy with tequila and good enough with vodka.

Vodka goes all right with almost anything. Tequila goes well with almost nothing (though admittedly my opinion is heavily biased since I really don't like tequila).

Try coke or 7up or something? Maybe Squirt.

Half set jelly is good too... God, I'm getting a headache just remembering.

If you drizzle some grenadine in a Tequila/OJ, you have a Tequila Sunrise.

Chimayo Cocktail = tequila, apple cider, barely a touch of grenadine, garnish with apple slice. Signature drink of La Hacienda de Rancho de Chimayo Hotel in Chimayo, New Mexico. Would work nearly as well with vodka, though the flavor would be almost exclusively apple in that case.

Just for vodka, try vanilla Coke (or regular Coke with a dash of vanilla extract) but none of that diet Coke crap. That stuff'll kill you. If you have the money, this insta-drink is better, imo, with vanilla vodka and regular Coke. I recommend Stoli Vanil, but it costs.

By the by, it may taste good with boysenberry. I dunno where to find boysenberry juice, or if it tastes good with vodka... I just like boysenberries. *nods*

Moving swiftly onto VODKA, salt and grapefruit (lush), crush lime around the rim of the glass and add the crushed lime to the voddy (also lush), Vodka blue Bols and a citrus mix juice (exotic lush), vodka cola (common lush, same as OJ and voddy), Vodka out of the freezer (hardcore lush, don't do this if your voddy is poor quality it doesn't help), room temperature straight Vodka (either desperation or inebriation has kickd in).

Mix the following; 1/2 glass of vodka and 1/2 glass of tequila. No mixer needed. :eek:

Orange juice is excellent with vodka. It's not bad with tequila.
