Lego Man Saved From Drowning
The Sadisco Room

A giant, smiling Lego man was fished out of the sea in the Dutch resort of Zandvoort on Tuesday.
Workers at a drinks stall rescued the 2.5-metre (8-foot) tall model with a yellow head and blue torso.

It's news like this that makes you feel more confident about the kindness of your average person. If someone will go out of their way to save a Lego, I'm sure they'd save you too.
The smile on his face, however, seems to deepen the mystery of his nearly fatal accident. An attempted suicide, maybe? His t-shirt reads, "No Real Than You Are", apparently a cryptic suicide note.

I can imagine those people on their deathbeds when they are asked what they did with their lives they can say “I saved a giant Lego Paedophile” (see the picture).

"No Real Than You Are"
I think this is the best part of the story.

I think this is the best part of the story.
My experience says that the best part of the story was the warm, happy feeling afterwards .... the one i think The Sadisco Room was intimating.

Yeah, but I have a real soft spot for complete grammatical trainwrecks. I wouldn't necessarily expect anyone to agree with me that it was the best part of the story. ;)

That's fair. I'm sure there's a few others that'll agree with you on it.

Looking at the message on the shirt, he must fallen in the water in Japan or some other Engrish haven.

Yup. Plus the Dutch make those great-tasting butter-cookies. :p
