Finnish. It's poetry.

Kivijalkaa kansakunnan riihikuivatun
Aneista tiliin suurten perustaksi teen
Pantatun onnen veljein silmistä nään
Kädet pehmenneet, tahdon suruksi sulaneen

Kiitävän hetken taakseni katsoen
Nään unelmat, joista kerrottiin
Raudankovat sielut, raskaat sydämet
Surun lyijykyynelistä kerran taotut

Tallotuin mielin katsoin siltojani
Sortuneet kauan sitten uhmakkaina
Lyhyt on laulu lapsen tyhjäpäisen
Taivaisiin tavoitelleen harhaanastujan

Kiitävän hetken taakseni katsoen
Nään unelmat, joista kerrottiin
Raudankovat sielut, raskaat sydämet
Surun lyijykyynelistä kerran taotut

Niin syntejä isäsi
Aamusta iltaan uudelleen näit
Rauhassa työltäsi kurjuuden
Vallassa sodan ja sovinnon

Kiitävän hetken taakseni katsoen
Nään unelmat, joista kerrottiin
Raudankovat sielut, raskaat sydämet
Surun lyijykyynelistä kerran taotut

My favorite spoken language is English. I love how its rubbery and I can express the same thought so many different ways.

I also like how it steals words from so many different languages. I can sit down and look at French, German or Spanish and I have a good idea of what is says without knowing the language (or at least I did before learning German and Spanish.)

Arabic, I'd say. I love writing in Arabic, it's just fun to do. I also very much like its grammar system, it makes a lot of sense. As well as the the root/pattern system. A good deal of the language can be broken down to a three letter root upon which certain patterns are placed that consistently alter the meanings of the words.

Malayalam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malayalam) is my favorite language, although it's not my native language.

Not such a tough language to learn ( I don't mean in the perfect grammar sense, just learning passable Malayalam) but where it gets everyone is the pronunciation. I can understand a bit, but can't speak it.

I don't know about my favorite, but except for Common, I find Draconic and Abysal to the most useful. Depends where you are, as far nether languages go, I'd pick Infernal over Ayssal. Though Abyssal does have a wonderful lilt to it (In comparison to the rather dead pan Infernal), Infernal as a language grants wider access to those who speak it. Take the iron city of Dis, for example.

Can't disagree with Draconic though, something of a root language for most others, it is handy to know.

You know what pisses me off though? Those fucking druids with their exclusive BS! I thought they were supposed to be down to earth treehuggers, but they walk around with their 'secret language' like a pole up their arses! Who the fuck speaks Druidic anyway?!
