Kuffir burns Al-Quraan!

Assalaam Alaikum in the name of Allah tala, and His prophet Mohammed (saws),

What is the world coming to when a kuffir can burn the holy revelation from Allah (s.w.t) he is seen as a hero, and speaking out against injustice, but when the ummah speaks out against such bigotry and hatred, we are seen barbaric, terrorists?

He may make try to make a point by burning al-quraan, but Allah will make a point to him, by sending him to hell-fire less he turns from his ways.

Gay Artist Burns Rare $60,000.00 Koran

http://www.ereleases.com/pr/20070726005.html

NEW YORK, July 26, 2007 -- Charles Merrill, the artist who recently edited the Holy Bible with a black marker and pair of sissors, has lately burned a rare Islamic Holy Book, The Koran, valued at $60,000.00, in an undisclosed Chicago location. "The purpose of editing and burning Abrahamic Holy Books is to eliminate homophobic hate," Merrill stated. "Both ancient books are terrorist manuals."

He continues, "I inherited the rare Islamic book from my late wife, Evangeline Johnson Merrill. As the daughter of the founder of the international pharmaceutical giant, Johnson and Johnson, Inc., doors of kings and queens opened to her around the world. Evangeline was given the rare manuscript by the late King of Jordan when she was on a mission for the United Nations in the 1950's."

"Airplanes are flown into buildings because of words, and hate crimes against gays," Merrill said.

Merrill is a self-made millionaire, artist, fervent atheist and cousin of the co-founder of Merrill Lynch.

Broadway Gallery is pleased to present Charles Merrill, artist, gay activist and iconoclast. Merrill's exhibition incorporates themes of LGBT activism and the spiritual customs associated with indigenous cultures in his work.

Using boldly colored acrylic and oil paint on large canvases, many are geometric compositions with recurring motifs of triangles, circles, lines, and arrows. The upside-down pink triangles in his work originate from a sinister source - it was the emblem that gays had to wear in Nazi concentration camps.

Notably, another form of Merrill's activism is his altruism. All proceeds from works sold at his show at Broadway Gallery benefit the Williams Institute UCLA Sexual Orientation Legal Think Tank. Merrill wants "to make social change, educate, to leave the world a better place for the next generation of oppressed people." Merrill can be located on the Internet at http://www.merrillcharles.com.

I think the rumour is that it was discovered that Sadisco Room was DCD.

If that rumour is true, then DCD certainly has shown to be a piss-poor troll by joining the Kimchiteers Club with his Islamic minstrelsy.

But now, on this topic.

Yeah, burning a $60,000 copy of the Qu'ran given to his late wife by the King of Jordan is pure selfish asshattery. Yes, it's just a publicity stunt that's joining the bandwagon of blanket Islamaphobia by declaring it a "terrorist" manual. Jerry Falwell couldn't have put it better, and the man hated gays.

But, it was his copy to with as he pleased and there's nothing to be done about it. Was his book to burn and be an Islamaphobic asshat with. It's telling when he merely "edits" the Holy Bible but burns the Qu'ran.

And of course, in before the Islamist fruitcakes get word of this and get into an uproar, which of course will then make news and give Kimchi another "/\/\05|3/\/\z r 3b1|" hardon which he'll then post on NSG.

Would someone capable of burning a Koran not be capable of lying as well? You have only his word he burnt anything. Of course if he's lying that means he didn't burn anything at all and your faux fury is most displaced.

'Sides, it's his property, if he wants to roast it, go for it. Can't say as I would, but hey.

By the way, the article never says he's gay. It does say he had a wife who died. That would sort of make him bisexual in all likelihood.

It was a copy of the Koran, not ancient statues. Sure it was valued at 60k, but that's not a lot of money. Guessing it wasn't exactly rare or ancient. Now if he'd trashed a real artifact then some anger would be expected, but it wasn't anything particularly valuable.

Beyond sizeable cojones and a lot of patience, you'll need a high enough Charisma score, a successful influence check, something to barter with, and a metric fuckton of luck if you want to get trolls on your side. And even after negotiation you STILL need to watch your back: trolls tend towards chaotic evil, and'll try to kill you if you don't keep them interested.
