More Nuttiness from New Zealand: Anemic Women Refuse Sex With "Carnivores"

You can't make this stuff up, I don't think. :p

Cruelty-Free Consumption in New Zealand: A National Report on the Perspectives and Experiences of Vegetarians and other Ethical Consumers asked 157 people nationwide about everything from battery chickens to sexual preferences.

Many female respondents described being attracted to people who ate meat, but said they did not want to have sex with meat-eaters because their bodies were made up of animal carcasses.

Warning: Rough-looking "Vegan" woman behind the link.

Now, I'm all for freedom of choice - if you want to shun others on the basis of what they eat, or what they wear, or what color their shoes are, that's fine. It just seems to me that, for whatever reason, perhaps the need for group identity or simple brainwashing, the extreme animal-types are sort of multiplying. Of course, they're still only multiplying from numbers around 0.01% to 0.011%, but it's notable nonetheless as an 'alternate' lifestyle. ;)

So, I ask: what do you make of this 'movement?' What do you attribute it to, and where do you see it going? If you belong to it, would you be disturbed at having 'relations' with a non-'vegan,' or is that not a priority?

No poll this time. :p

If the idea of having sex with someone who eats meat repulses her, then having sex with someone who eats meat is not going to be fun. She's repulsed. Even if the reason itself is a little odd for the mainstream, it's nice that she's being honest about whether or not she's repulsed. I mean, it would suck if, after being married for 10 years, she divorced some guy because she couldn't handle it anymore. Better to not go there in the first place.

I atribute it to the power of the mind, and honesty. *shrug*

That's true. I was sort of trying to relate it to the wider question, but it is, in itself, quite an odd quirk. :p

It's not so odd to not to want to taste or smell carne on or out of someone else, i think. People have some unusual musk when they get to spawnin', as it is.

That might be true, if smell is an issue. In general, vegetables make me stink more than meat. God knows what sauerkraut and certain beans do to my digestive tract. :p

Hey, don't blame us - veganism and all the associated granola ideology is entirely cargo-cult stuff. 100% imported. :p

I saw this online today, at work. My initial reaction was, "well, I don't much fancy rooting a compost pile either". You are what you eat, after all... :)

If this is the case, vegans may even go one step further, and refuse to have sex with anyone who has ever eaten meat, because there may be some legacy animal carcasses in their bodies.

I see foresee that in time, a certain re-birth of a species (prompted by a small genepool) Homo robustus (I know the original wasn't of Homo genus, but give me a break). That's if they even survive at all.

I'm not part of any sort of movement. I'm vegan for a number of reasons, including animal cruelty, efficiency and environmental costs of animal production, but equally important is the simple fact that I find the idea repulsive.

That last reason may seem strange to some, but you almost certainly share the gist of it. GM made a comment about brain sausage (yesterday, I think), in the context that eating the brains of a cow is disgusting, while eating the rest of it isn't. Other people think eating insects or humans is repulsive. There's no real difference, it's just a matter of degree and personal prejudices.

Obviously I don't care whether or not a partner shares my dietary habits or preferences, but I do insist she brush her teeth before I'll kiss her, and I won't share her toothbrush. Is it a bit hysterical? Probably. But I'm sure she prefers I actually want her, and not just close my eyes and try not to vomit in her mouth. I know I do.

Of course, they're still only multiplying from numbers around 0.01% to 0.011%, but it's notable nonetheless as an 'alternate' lifestyle. ;)

I can understand that people object to needless cruelty towards fellow sentient beings - I'd like that the animals I eat are treated in the best way before slaughtering them, and I prefer that animals are killed in the less painful way possible. Anyway, refusing to eat meat won't improve the life standards of cattle: that's because the number of people who demand meat will always be a lot larger than the number of vegans and vegetarians (ask a starving kid if he prefers lettuce or chicken). Laws, not pointless protests, will improve the life standards of animals.

Anyway, about the "corpse-eater" (yeah, I've been called that by vegetarians and vegans)... well, usually I reply "you know, it is difficult bite away the hind-quarters of a beef if it's still running. Also, I like to seat when I eat, and I like my meat cooked, not raw, so I'm having my meat dead, as cats, bears, lions and wolves do". Usually the veganfundies run away disgusted after that.

So, I ask: what do you make of this 'movement?' What do you attribute it to, and where do you see it going? If you belong to it, would you be disturbed at having 'relations' with a non-'vegan,' or is that not a priority?

Oh well, I'd never want to have much relationship with a veganfundy. If a girl doesn't appreciate my cooking and makes disgusted faces and stupid remarks when I'm eating a bologna sandwich, the eventual sexual attraction is going downhill, I'll tell you.

Also, the "you're made by what you eat so your sperm is dead cows you corpse eater" attitude is a total idiocy and reflects perfectly the ignorance of these people about human physiology... have they ever heard about protein synthesis etc? I'd guess they haven't. I could also reply, "your body is decaying leaves so go away, you stink of rotten wood". Idiots.

No poll this time. :p:eek::eek: My compulsive need of poll-voting is being unsatisfied! AIEEE!

Btw, I hear a lot of news on the media about veganfundy parents who force vegan diet on newborns. Those poor kids starve, sometimes to death, because of lack of amminoacids and fat - and even the milk of vegan women is also very poor on amminoacids and fat, that are crucial to the development and growth of a human body.

Also, the difference between gorillas and humans. Gorillas are vegan primates. They have to waste most of their time eating and digesting leaves. Humans are omnivorous primates - it is easily shown by the differences in the intestines, the difference in teeth. By eating more nutritive, and easier digested food- that is, meat - we gained a lot of time and resources to develop our brain. Humans HAVE to eat meat.
Our ancestors separated from the ancestors of the gorilla because they became omnivorous dwellers of the prairies, instead that vegan dwellers of the jungle.

Eventually, all veganfundies will starve themselves or their kids to death, thus obliterating themselves out of the history of human genoma. Bye bye.

This is the danger of rationalization. First, you take a harmless vegetarian and with a sudden spurt of rationalization, he realizes that not only does he have a responibility to eat no meat, but to eat nothing made from animals or their exploitation. Boom. A Vegan is born. Then, some vegans(in a fit of rationalization) stop having sex with other people because they eat meat and are therefore composed of animal carcasses. Now people are being deprived sex because of rationalization(which isn't really that much of a loss. I have yet to meet a fuckable vegan). One more sudden spurt of rationalization, and maybe vegans will realize that vegetables are grown from animal waste.

This is why I prefer irrationality. :)

The problem with Vegan, or any animal aversive diet is a lack of protien. Yeah, there are some vegitables (legumes for example) that have protien in them, but they tend to be difficult to digest. This is especially true for women, who for issues that are better left to other threads, avoid difficult and inefficent digesting food.

Now, meat-centric diets tend to have too much protien, due to the high concentration of that particular nutrient in animal muscular tissue. Now this is mainly a problem for men, who due to societal pressures, tend to overindulge in meats.

I think we need to correct this, and from now on, canisorive men need to *donate* protien to protien difficient women. This can be done either by injection or administered orally.

Well it seems there is a consensus among many vegans/vegetarians that oral sex with another vegan/vegetarian is more pleasant tasting. I've heard similar things about kissing but not often.

I personally think so as well but that isn't going to stop me from enjoying some hanky panky with a hot carnivore. Though, I don't want to taste bacon on the lips of someone I'm making out with so I'd hope that they brush first just as I would hope a smoker would brush or mouthwash first before I kiss them.

I don't see anything wrong with these woman making such a choice. I hope the trend grows exponentially so that my chances of getting teh hot sex go up as others lose out. It would be sweet justice to see all those omnivores, who equate vegetarianism with mental illness, to be rejected for their diet. HAH!
