I said to my friend 'George Bush should be put on trial for being a war criminal.' she over heard it and replied: 'If you ever say that again I will never let you talk to my son again. George Bush is a good Christian President and the Iraqis are evil terrorist scum who need to be destroyed. George Bush has God on his side in this Holy war against the enemies of Christ!' (I didn't respond, if I had, it wouldn't have ended well)

That's something I'll never understand. The people already veterans of online communities, whether textual like NS or gaming like WoW or Unreal Tournament, usually want for other players to commune with -- but what's the first thing they do when someone new asks an innocent question? "STFU n00b", or something similar. If I wanted that shit, I'd have enlisted in the armed services.

So we don't tend to piss all over new players/posters here because new blood is good for the whole. We will, however, gently correct spelling. W-E-I-R-D.

Well, not all of them obviously. But most plants I like, as they're fairly inoffensive. As long as I cover the dirt they're in with little rocks and quickly pick up any leaves they drop.
This place is perfect. I can get the social interaction I'm starved for without having to touch anyone.

In my experience here, btw, some of the inflictions some of the more twisted folk use (including myself) are a bit worse than physical contact.
