I will never forget, during my first year of teaching at my university, I was part of the audition panel for those trying out for the spring musical. As my colleague, who's a professional opera singer, was writing things about various auditionees, I looked at her notes and saw GHU under a couple of names. These names belonged to voices that were, well, well-intentioned, if nothing else.

I had no idea what that could possibly mean, so after the last voice was heard, I asked her, once the room had cleared what GHU means.

She leaned over and said, sotto voce, "God help us."

I use it to this day.

There's also SOLnJWF: Shit Outta Luck and Jolly Well Fucked.

Y'all going to define these or make us look 'em up?

When I worked in county government (auditor's office), the records division was going digital. That meant scanning assloads of records and plat maps into computers and calling in one of those specialty software companies to design our records entry/maintenance and public access software. The brass went with a Dallas firm that produced a chronically buggy little software chimera called "I/SOL". I guess it meant "Information Solutions" or something similarly bland. After six weeks of bad scans, lost records and all kinds of down time, the rank-and-file had an unofficial contest to come up with a new parsing of the acronym.

My entries were:

"Information Scattered Or Lost"
"It Sucks, O Lord"
"I Scream Out Loud"

We never got to determine a winner because somebody left the clandestine list of entries out and it was discovered by the recording lead. We got paid for the next three overtime Saturdays, but they sucked anyway.

What about initialism? I found this...

"The world's longest initialism, according to the Guinness Book of World Records is NIIOMTPLABOPARMBETZHELBETRABSBOMONIMONKONOTDTEKHSTROMONT (Нииомтплабопармбетзелбетрабсбомонимонконотдтехстромонт). The 56-letter initialism (54 in Cyrillic) is from the Concise Dictionary of Soviet Terminology and means "The laboratory for shuttering, reinforcement, concrete and ferroconcrete operations for composite-monolithic and monolithic constructions of the Department of the Technology of Building-assembly operations of the Scientific Research Institute of the Organization for building mechanization and technical aid of the Academy of Building and Architecture of the USSR.""

In anatomy class, we have the acronym, "I Love Sex" representing the Iliolumbaris, Longissimus, and Spinalis muscles of the back. Together all of these three are called Erector spinae muscles.

<sexist joke coming>
Then, we have another mnemonic to memorize the cranial nerves: "Oh, Oh, Oh, to touch and feel a girl's vagina, so heavenly." They represent the cranial nerves, from CNI-CNXII: olfactory, optic, oculomotor, trochlear, trigeminal, abducens, facial, auditory, glossopharyngeal, vagus, spinal acessory, and hypoglossal nerves.
