Who is the most powerful anime character? Which anime character is so omnipotent that all other anime character's seem weak next to him/her?

I mean vegeta did copy goku's ability (sensing) just from fighting him, so he would eventually copy the billion times stronger power. So with a god it's probably an even fight.

Then you exclude all the Goku/Sayian characters (who are Godlike in and of themselves... how many times did Goku Die? how many battles were there where entire mountain ranges were blown away and they walk away with a tiny cut.)

The whole point is it's a character developing exercise, not actually trying to figure out who is strongest, because too many of them are invunrable or maybe some powers just wouldn't work against others, or maybe it's a rock paper scissors effect etc. Too many things to consider.

Under the new condition of no gods, demi-gods, pseudo-gods or if-you-squint-hard-enough-it-almost-looks-like-a-god, I'll propose Kafuka Fūra (Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei); nothing can defeat her positive attitude in life, not even her homeroom teacher.

My money is on Kasumi Tendo.

Why?
1) in the Tendo House hold. You never see her get mad/fustrated/irritated. (proof of her confidence that she can handle any problem.)
2) in the movies/T.V. series. you will see her and her family get caught in an explosion yet, she will be there, unharmed while everyone else is 'messed up.'
3) When Happosai was possessed by the 7 demons, she was the only one able to defeat him.
4) no one, NO ONE is able to hit Kasumi.
5) she is the only one who can survive an encounter with Dr. Tofu.
6) No one... I repeat, NO ONE dares to upset Kasumi.

Normal characters: Tougher, but Goku is a contender (Saiyans can die, at least in the abstract...); as is Keitaro Urashima perhaps (having survived being pounced on several times by five VERY aggressive women at once for ogling them even accidentally; not to mention having pottery, architecture, and Naru Narusegawa's Saiyan-grade fists to cope with too...).

She shows up in the series when Goku chases General Blue all the way to Peguin Village, she then defeats Blue in two moves after he paralyzes Goku. She was also able to ride on the Kinto'un (Flying Nimbus in the U.S. anime), which indicates her as being pure of heart. She appears in both anime and manga versions. She also appears in the Mystical Adventure film of the original Dragon Ball series, and appears on a poster in Gohan's bedroom in Dragon Ball Z and her face was shown on the movie 8 of the Dragon Ball Z series.

She only uses this when she appears in Dragon Ball Volume 7. She runs after the target and does a double flying kick.

Earth-Splitter
She punches the ground and it splits the planet in half.

Head Butt
Not your average head butt. If her enemy is airborne, she jumps up very high and butts the enemy with very high force in the torso. Usually sends an average person flying hundreds of miles.

Kiiiiiiiiin
A technique that Arale uses to go very, very fast (about 500 miles per hour max). She basically leaps very far.

N'cha Cannon
Arale's secret weapon, it is a very powerful beam shot from the mouth. To use it, all Arale has to do is breath in and yell "N'cha" (Senbei's greeting) very loudly.

Transformation
A "technique" that Arale uses to "transform" into her "alter-ego" Ultra-Man, by taking out a flashlight, turning it on, and saying "Ultra-Man! Schwaaa!" Then changing her clothes into a spandex superhero jumpsuit and then saying "Schwaaa!" again.

Watermelon/Pumpkin Cannon
A "technique" that Arale uses several times on Senbei as a prank. She loads a cannon with a pumpkin or a watermelon and shoots it at the target. She usually wears a kunoichi outfit when performing this "technique"

I'd say it's Akira. He created his own universe. What power can there even be beyond this? It's explicitely stated that he is "the next step of mankinds evolution. A mankind of pure energy and limitless power." While this is stated ICly, and one cannot be sure wether the Doc's statement on the nature of Akira is entirely correct, one can be sure that Akira would screw up Goku so badly he'd be so soar he couldn't get his but on a chair for years. (But perhaps I'm only saying this because I love the movie Akira, loved DBZ and was awwwww soooooo disapointed when GT was aired). Then again, Son Goku's power is extreme but Akira seems more powerful because the depiction of his power is more realistic. Let's just say they are about equal, just that their powers are different, ok?.
