You can transfer players but pay a points penalty. You can play a wild card and change as many players as you want with no penalty.

I put John Terry in my team, even though he is currently injured. Knew it would be just as easy to keep him there than to pay the penalty when he comes back...

It's because the NS league only started on gameweek 2. Only the points from week 2 onwards are counted.

Only Mancs I have are van de Saar and some defender (sitting on the bench currently - got him just to fill out the roster). Have a feeling I'm going to need to do some adjusting as the season goes on though - have a number of players from newly promoted teams, and I don't think they'll do well over the whole season...
