Lady Bird Johnson Dies

I just wanted to recognize the fact the Lady Bird Johnson passed away today at 4:18 p.m, and she was 94 years old. She did a lot for the environment throughout the world and in her attempts to beautify the state of Texas (distibuting wildflower seeds on major highways and her wildflower center in Austin, TX).

If you don't know of her, she was the wife of Lyndon B. Johnson, President of the US after Kennedy was assasinated.

I would like to offer a moment of silence to her in respect to her passing...

...Thanks

If you suggest a moment of silence, how is everyone going to see this thread? It'll surely get bumped off the first page.

No offense but this probably isn't the best place to make a post like this...its only a matter of time before some incentive ass starts degrading this Mrs Johnson...

She was most likely not a bad person, and she tried to help the environment and was probably a good influence on Johnny.

So, I raise my water bottle to her in respect.

Wow - 94 years. Good for her. :) She was, by all accounts, a respectable first lady.
