Yeah, we know the war in Iraq is going badly when this happens.

THE Iraqi port city of Basra, already prey to a nasty turf war between rival militia factions, has now been gripped by a scary rumour – giant badgers are stalking the streets by night, eating humans.
The animals were allegedly released into the area by British forces.
Local farmers have caught and killed several of the beasts, but this has done nothing to dispel the rumour.
And it's all the UK's fault. Maybe it's that idea of a giant wooden badger that's got them going...

My favorite one was the reason that US troops wear Oakleys.
It's because the sunglasses are really x-ray vision glasses, and they are looking at the women on the street through their clothing.

I once had an Iraqi guy tell me that he'd heard that our HMMWVs had "magnetic forcefields" on them, and that's why they couldn't hit us with RPGs. Of course, I told him that it wasn't magnetic forcefields, it was the fact that they were shitty shots that protected us.
Anyway, as to the topic, those damned Wisconsinites are always up to no good.
