Hmm... Well, that excludes lesbians... I guess they didn't bother to study them.

Women (heterosexuals, if I am not mistaken) seem to prefer muscular men (more muscular for flings, nicely toned but not too muscular for long term).

Duh.

I thought that this was fairly obvious, for people of any sexual persuasion - we find people who are physically fit more attractive than people who are not.

Why do they provide grants for this kind of study?

Don't the peer reviewers die laughing when reading this stuff?

Men are generally drawn to toned women, not fat women. But, I don't have a study handy, so I could be wrong.

Well, there are some people that only believe in something if it has been proved by science... Usually those are atheists that are as radical toward science as many are towards religion.

Also, this study just tell us what we have always knew: women like guys with muscles, but not with too many muscles. Its good when its a plus, not when its the main thing that gives the guy some confidence (like so many men in gym, whose only reason for being prouds of themselves is that they´ve managed to lift 5 kg more than last month).

He said prior studies concluded a man's desirability was influenced more by his earning potential and commitment. His study found physical characteristics mattered more.

So the study wasn't useless after all.
