Beyond the Collapse of Russia
Inspiration from the 'Future of Russia' thread...
Assuming that Russia continues to deteriorate.
Assuming that the Russian Central Government collapses.
Assuming that Russia breaks up in two or three independent states.
What are the implications for the global: political, and economic areas? How will this affect the way the governments around the world act?
Canada invades the Siberian Russia Country. The rest of Asia lives in fear.

:D The day Canada does something even resembling an offensive strike is the day Hell freezes over. I mean Ice Age freeze, none of that frost shit.

A mad rush to regain control over the region and its resources between the now broken Russian Independent states (if any of them have the ability to coordinate such a task) and other nations.
Possible Civil war between factions within the Independent Russian nations (the recent split would have left the already bleeding Russian military and political structure in shambles and loyalties would be questioned). strong diplomatic, and possibly military tension amongst the neighboring nations looking for a taste of Russia's goods.
The U.N would be in an uproar looking to stabalize the region before it catches fire (all the while trying to keep itself in order), meanwhile some members of the U.N would be happy to use their own Military to control the region, which is where the western world will most likely feel the tension.
More or less the world would operate the same way it did prior to the hypoethtical Russian breakup, in an oxymoronic organized chaos, power struggles, name calling, and some bloody noses.
Perhaps new Flavors of Vodka? or a Tatu cover band?

Looting, everything from TVs, Trucks, and T-72s from the now chaotic military bases, since the soldiers are busy either fleeing for home or shooting at each other.

You just aren't used to our style of warfare.

Well being trampled by hundreds of horses may serve to break moral, but a horse can kiss its ass goodbye when going up against a tank. ( I said this in reference to the common myth that Canada's military is made up cavalry (horses) and nothing else...well maybe a musket or two)

We'll bring Canadian democracy to Siberia, one Tim Hortons at a time.
Cavalry and tanks have nothing to do with warfare.
;) Point taken.
