Why do I even bother to go to Fark when I could fulfill all my not-news needs here on NSG?

Duck declined to release the girl's blood alcohol level but said a blood test at the hospital showed it was higher than .02, the legal limit for minors.

Ok... I didn't know there was a legal limit for minors...

I find this whole story awesome and nobody is too blame apart from the kid who should get a good talking too and maybe a loss of allowance

Well there are some medicines with a bit of alcohol in them. If there was no legal limit and it was just no tolerance, anyone taking cough syrup could be under the influence!

The girl, who was slightly injured in the crash, is now charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of an accident.
Does anyone else find these charges absurdly humorous?
Why didn't they charge her for driving without a license?

Or you can drink rubbing alcohol from the bottle itself. Or denatured alcohol. Yum.

Seriously, I know that even cough syrup could be abused too... *drools for the taste of red strawberry-flavored carbocisteine cough syrup... darn, I miss grape-flavored Dimetapp too*

Same with the green Skittles. They taste like poorly flavored medicine.

Allah forbids alcohol, and women should be pregnant and hidden in a burka too thick to drive in, to say nothing of the fact she should not of been alone without the presence of a male relative.

Had she been a good follow of the Almighty Allah she would of never been in such a situation!

Cough syrup can be abused, but not generally for the alcohol content. But for the DXM, which is actually an incredibly powerful disassociative.
