Global Warming: Hurrican Hell in the Gulf of Mexico

Now this may be completely unfounded, but I read that due to the movement of the water in the ice sheets, North and South that the world's climate could get colder, though maybe equaled off by the fact that our ozone is going bye-bye. But if there is cold war moving with the melting ice caps, wouldn't that mean that the Gulf of Mexico, with what I assume has warm air or water, cause an gigantic Hurricane? I apologize if this scenario has already been proved or un-proved by any testing, but I have not heard of it and was simply wandering.
Plus I drew up this diagram :-p.

Well I can't argue with a diagram like that. It's clearly the result of decades of scientific research.

Iranian Emirate are you looking for a serious reply to .. eh.. that thing of yours?
Iranian Emirate, you're an idiot. Weather does not cause and is not caused by "cold war"s moving, the ozonosphere is still present, and that picture looks like it was drawn by a retarded adolescent monkey.

don't be so hard on the special boy...and I'm sure if you looked hard enough you would see humor/a clear link between cold wars and weather

Lol, what I meant to say was that when the Ice Caps melt, that they would bring along with them a cold FRONT, not war, that was an accident in typing. Anyways, I believe to Gulf of Mexico is more warm front leaning. Anyways, when these two fronts collide, wouldn't that make an either very active hurricane area or one very large hurricane? And what I meant by Ozone was that it is getting warmer, and it is going away.

Now, I don't know that much about Hurricanes, but I know when a cold front and a warm front collide over sea it starts one. The Gulf of Mexico is more warm leaning and if its warm front collided with what I believe will be the cold front from the melted glaciers, wouldn't that begin a hurricane?

It's a lot more complicated than that, I'm afraid. Both the formation of hurricanes and your whole idea, I'm afraid. Warm fronts and cold fronts are weather, while sea temperatures and melting glaciers are climate. You can't use weather analogies to examine climatic changes. At least you're thinking for yourself, though. :)

Awesome, so we don't have to worry about massive hurricanes when the shit goes down. So anyone freaked out by the fact that a large Hurricane was in Canada, and there's a tornado watch for North East of America?

Soviets don't write in cyrillic, nor do they speak Russian. They speak English with a Russian accent, so that James Bond and his contemporaries can understand them.

Awesome, so we don't have to worry about massive hurricanes when the shit goes down. Well, depending on where you are, yes, you might well do. Increased sea temperatures (in the gulf of mexico) could result in more powerful Hurricanes, due to the increased energy input. Sorry!

Lol i'm kinding.... !....!..... /endthread ??I'm still not sure if you're trying to be funny or if you're serious, but TDs replies were perfectly sound. If you are serious, and just don't know enough to ask something sensible, I suggest you start reading hurricane related articles on Wikipedia. It's a great place to start, and at least a couple of people on here can help you make sense of the info if you can't on your own.

I doubt they would try to be understood by fictional british superspies. If this was the case, they would have collapsed already.

That's an official "scientific" Global Warming drawing actually. I guess this week we're going to go into the Ice Age but next week we'll be boiling under the sun. When Global Warming ceases to become a political issue where "scientific" opinion is based on your party registration then I'll give it some attention, until then, make up your mind. I do love though whenever someone gives a speech about the Earth heating up and boiling us alive, there's a freak blizzard somewhere or when someone speaks about the opposite, somewhere else it's 120°F in the shade. Go Earth, way to keep us on our toes!
Why are people so afraid of Global Warming anyway? We won't destroy this planet, it'll destroy us. Why fight it, we're just a big virus anyway, let Mother Nature run her course getting rid of us. No need to slow it down, the faster the better.

Or perhaps you could understand the difference between "Average Earth's Temperature increase", "Climate", and "Weather".
You could also learn what Global Warming(More accurately Global Climate Change, as Global Warming is a term used mostly by the Media for hype; Most climatologists use Global Climate Change, although Global Warming is accurate, it is misleading, as you have pointed out in your incredibly ignorant post).
So basically, you don't know a damn thing about what the scientists are saying, but you like to act like you do.
