heres a friend I went to school,played basketball,baseball and eventually sparred with.
He lost unanimous decision to Evander Holyfield this weekend. He says its his last fight,but he has said that before.

Holyfield still boxing??? He must be nearly as old as Foreman!!! (ok...the last bit was a bit tongue in cheek....)

Hey, I think I've heard of him - looks like you know someone famous. Neat! :)

Unfortunately, I've noticed that boxing in general seems to be on the wane, with the rise of the bare-knuckled leagues especially. That's what boxing deserves for splitting into too many divisions - it's ridiculous now, and almost impossible for someone to win a unified title, and that's no fun.

Its the heavyweight division thats worst affected, due in no small part to a Don King....

Evander is struggling to make it back to the heavyweight title.

I really think Lou is finally hanging up his gloves this time. His wife wants him to quit in the worst way. He has good income from real estate & several acting jobs,just built a huge,beautiful house 4 houses down from my parents and has two young boys.

I think one of his greatest fights was against Foreman. He lost by decision,but Foreman tried hard,couldnt knock him out. Foreman said he hit him with everything he had and couldnt do it.
Going the distance,toe to toe with George Foreman is not something many people can say.
