Obviously this guy spent a lot of time doing this and it will end up being eaten.

I don't really have a favorite cheese as I like most of them. If I'd have to pick one though it would be smoked cheddar. Yummmm...

I think it would be fun to sculpt a bunny out of cheese. Then, when it gets moldy, you'd have a fuzzy bunny! :p
It's terrifying how completely at home the sculptor looks next to that sculpture.

Et moi, aussi.
He's heading to New York City in coming days to appear on television and promote the sculpture in Times Square.
Then the carving hits the road on a publicity tour, while Landwehr heads home to Little Chute.
The carving eventually will end up in Oklahoma and be cut into cubes to become a snack itself.
Going to be a tad mature after all that, isn't it?

I'm definitely more of a smooth cheese man. A nice smooth cheddar is the best. Although sharp cheese can be enjoyed in moderation.
Cheese history: In 1170, Henry II purchased 10,420 lbs of cheddar at a farthing per pound. I one day intend to equal that feat.

I suggest getting a job that involves purchasing stock for a supermarket.

[Critic looks at a sculpture of cheese made out of butter.]
Critic: Is that cheese?
Artist: No, it's butter.
Critic: But it looks like cheese..
Artist: Don't be silly, butter doesn't have holes in it.

"Would you care for a snack? I have a twelve thousand pound block of cheddar in my garage. I'll go chip a corner off for you."
